By the time it reaches your hands, more than a dozen people have lovingly contributed to its production: from cutting the fabrics to assembling the garment, checking for quality, pressing, labeling, and packing. It creates fair wage jobs all along the way.

TEXDA is a center of excellence in Uganda where women develop their creativity skills in textile design and garment production. Providing hands-on training allows entrepreneurs to develop their skills and challenge their creativity. Today over 1,050 trainees have followed courses at TEXDA and as a result they manage businesses that not only generate income, but also create traineeships and employment for others.
