Hurricane Michael made landfall on Wednesday, October 10th as a Category 4 storm, and just 2mph shy of a Category 5. The record-breaking 155 mph wind speeds were the strongest ever to hit the Florida Panhandle, causing catastrophic damage and loss of life. Mexico Beach, FL took a direct hit was nearly wiped out off the map by Michael's landfall. Several homes were destroyed in Florida and Georgia, and 1.4 million lost power as a result of the storm. The road to recovery is just now beginning.
